Each carpet strip gets 3 in of trim at both cut ends (+6 in per strip). Rooms are figured one at a time, without reusing leftover pieces; our installer may lay it out more efficiently on site. An estimate only, no pricing.

LVP (luxury vinyl plank), carpet, tile and linoleum for homes and rentals, and carpet tile and VCT (vinyl composition tile) for offices, commercial spaces and rentals, installed by our Jacks. We also repair and re-stretch carpet, repair, level and seal subfloors, install base trim, and fix damaged tile.
Do you repair or re-stretch carpet?
Yes, it's one of the most common jobs we do. We re-stretch loose, wrinkled or rippled carpet, repair seams, patch burns, stains, pet damage and snags, and fix transitions. It's a quick way to freshen a home or a rental between tenants without replacing the carpet.
How much flooring do I need?
For LVP and tile, multiply each room's length by its width in feet, add the rooms together, then add about 10% for cuts and waste. Carpet comes on 12 ft wide rolls, so it's figured in strips and usually needs more extra than that. Our online Flooring Calculator does both and shows carpet in square yards, with the number of seams.
Can you stop pet odors or fix an uneven floor before new flooring goes in?
Yes. Before the new floor goes down we repair damaged or soft subfloor, level uneven floors, and seal the subfloor with an odor-blocking primer (we use KILZ) to stop pet and other odors from coming back through. It's a common step on rental turns, done as part of the same job.

Do you install commercial flooring?
Yes. For offices, retail and other commercial spaces we install carpet tile and VCT (vinyl composition tile), along with LVP and our other floors, and we do floors in multifamily and rental units for property managers.
